Autorul articolului, un tip de-l cheama, fascinant, Kyriaki Hadjiafxendi, vine si el mai incolo c-o pagina si-mi zice, uimitor, acelasi lucru:
"In fact [...] realist fiction shares many of the concerns of idealist philosophy. Like realist novelists, idealist philosophers were concerned with the paradoxical formation of subjectivity as a free responsible agency, that is, the paradox of living a free life in a historically and materially determined society. Despite Williams' claim to the contrary, both literary realism and philosophical idealism tried to grasp the historical function of society both subjectively and objectively.
'The opposite of realism is not idealism but falsism,' G.H. Lewes had notably stated in his 1858 essay."
The Literary Encyclopedia - Realism (Literary), 1811
